𓂀This piece carries a deep remembrance of my lifelong connection to the whales — their wisdom, their presence, their songs that seem to echo something ancient within us. Living by the ocean, I am blessed to witness their great migration, and every time I see them, it feels like a homecoming.
As I painted, I felt the merging of worlds - the vast, infinite ocean, the cosmos above, and the quiet inner space of the feminine.
The whales swim alongside her, guardians of her soul, reminding us of the deep knowing we all carry beneath the surface.
May this painting be a portal — to stillness, to remembrance, and to the great mystery we are all part of.
